Data protection policy

The protection of your personal data is very important to us. Therefore, we process your data adhering to the legal regulations DSGVO - Datenschutz-Grunderverordnung Österreich (General Data Protection Regulation Austria) and TKG 2003 – Telekommunikationsgetz 2003 (Telecommunication Act 2003). In this data protection policy, we inform you about the key aspects of how we process your data on our website.

When you visit our website, your IP address, the beginning and the end of your session will be recorded in order to calculate the duration of the session. This is technically associated with the use of the website and thus represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of article 6 of the DSGVO on the lawfulness of processing data. Unless otherwise stated, we do not process this data further.

Contact us

If you contact us by e-mail, your details will be stored for six months to process the request and in case of follow-up questions. We will not share your personal contact details with third parties without your consent.

Cookies

So-called cookies are used on our websites. Cookies are small text files that recognise previous users when they visit our websites again. However, no personal information such as name or address is stored in them. If you do not want this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you can only give permission in individual cases.

However, this may mean that you will not be able to use our website fully. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

Web analytics

Our website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics (hereafter ‘The provider’). Cookies are being used to analyse the use of the website by its users. The generated information is transmitted to the server of the provider and stored there.

You can avoid this by changing the settings of your browser so that cookies are no longer being saved.

We have completed a contract with the provider about the processing of your data.

Your IP address is detected, but pseudonymized immediately (e.g., by deleting the last 8 bits). As a result, only a rough localization is possible.

All processing of your data takes places in accordance with the Austrian TKG 2003, as well as the Article 6 of the DSGVO. The latter refers to you are havingving given consent to the processing (Abs 1), as well as data processing being necessary for the legitimate interest pursued by the controller or a third party (Abs f).  The legitimate interest pursued by us is the improvement and customization of our website to individual need.

The user data is kept for a period of 26 months and then deleted.

Newsletter

You have the opportunity to subscribe to our newsletter on our website. For this we need your e-mail address and your consent.

Once you have subscribed to the newsletter, we will send you an email with a link to confirm your registration.

You can cancel the subscription to our newsletter at any time. Please send your cancellation request to the following e-mail address: info@groundtruthsolutions.org. We will immediately delete any of your data relevant to the distribution of our newsletter. This revocation of consent shall not affect the legality of the consent given in the time period before the withdrawal.

Your rights

When it comes to your stored data, you have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation of consent and objection to the storage of your data.
