Jackie Hanafie

Jackie joined us in 2020 and is responsible for the development and implementation of our communications strategy.
A trained journalist and passionate storyteller, Jackie has spent the past decade communicating and advocating for humanitarian, human rights, and refugee and migration issues consulting to organisations such as UNICEF, World Vision International, Plan International, Refugee Council of Australia, International Social Service and Humanitarian Advisory Group. She holds a masters in strategic communications from the University of Sydney, a first class honours degree in journalism from Monash University in Melbourne, and is currently undertaking a second masters in international relations. She works in English, Spanish and Bahasa Indonesia
