Hannah Miles
Statistical Analyst
Hannah is responsible for the statistical analysis and visualisation of data from crisis-affected populations. Her research on statistical methods informs survey design and ensures rigorous analysis, uncovering relationships in the data and translating this into actionable recommendations for the sector. She is also involved in the Cash Barometer, focussing specifically on perceptions of cash and voucher transfer recipients.
Her previous experience includes anti-corruption initiatives and statistical research applying machine learning to questions of voter behaviour.
Hannah holds a bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages (German and Arabic) from Durham University and a master’s degree in International Affairs from the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin, where she focussed on statistics and international law.
