Andrew Nzimbi

Consultant (East Africa)

Andrew is an independent consultant in monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL). He supports the design of our research methodology and in-country data collection, and contributes to data analysis. Andrew is involved in stakeholder engagement, closing the feedback loop and promoting the utilisation of research findings for informed decision making and advocacy. 

He has over 15 years of practical experience in both the Humanitarian and Development Sectors, covering 10 African Countries and Yemen. He has supported International and National NGOs and government institutions involved in humanitarian and development to solve their MEAL needs and to improve their quality of programming. He has set up and managed MEAL systems; conducted program audits, facilitated training; coordinated and conducted assessments, reviews and evaluations and; made presentations in symposiums and other fora. His experience targets diverse audiences supported by varied donors.

Andrew is a registered auditor with the Humanitarian Quality Assurance Initiative (HQAI) and does certification audits for organisations against the Core Humanitarian Standard. He is a Cash Learning Partnership (CALP) Certified Trainer and Sphere Trainer.

He holds a master’s in Project Planning and Management and a bachelor’s in Community Development. Andrew is based in Nairobi, Kenya.
